Greetings TERP Quest! I cannot believe this will be our 16th year. I have been involved with TERP Quest since the beginning (early 2000s) and have served as the camp director since 2018. My camp journey began in the 1980’s as a camper at scouting camp and church camp, to then being a counselor at various 4-H Camps. Prior to my arrival at the University of Maryland, I was the Associate Camp Director at the University of Vermont Adventure Day Camp and was the Camp Director of the Youth Sports Day Camp at Cornell University. I currently serve as an assistant director with University Recreation & Wellness overseeing the club sports program and the TERP Quest Day Camp.
Terrapins Exploring Recreational Possibilities has been the meaning behind TERP since day one and continues to guide us today. Our staff prides itself in helping children realize, and reach, their potential through our camp. We use the AWESOME rules to help guide and influence behavior while providing a safe and clean camp environment that is welcoming to every child and to every family.
