Get Ready for Camp

Terp Questers participate in a variety of activities like playing games, climbing on the rock wall, or heading to the pool to cool off. We utilize mutiple spaces within the Eppley Recreation Center, are often found out and about on-campus, and walk to all of our destinations. Stay in the know and prepare in advance so your camper is ready to take on the day! 

Camp Registration

Registration Opens: Wednesday, January 17, 2024 (8:00am)

Registration Closes: Open until filled. No registration after June 14, 2024

Health Forms must be completed by: June 17, 2024

Health & Safety

Health and safety are of paramount importance at Terp Quest, and we invest time in ensuring our staff are well-prepared. Everyone working at Terp Quest participates in over 40 hours of hands-on training prior to each summer. Terp Quest standards for safety training and child supervision exceed those mandated for camps by the State of Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. 

The TQ Experience

The “TQ Experience” is a one-of-a-kind camp experience filled with games, new friends, and lots of FUN. Our counselors and support staff work hard to carefully plan and organize interesting, age-appropriate activities for their groups. Terp Quest campers have opportunities for engaging in varied and exciting recreational activities.  We are committed to creating fun-filled and memorable days for all, and we measure our success by the number of campers returning year after year.

What to Bring

Make sure your camper has what they need to have a great day at camp! And kindly leave the items listed under "what not to bring" at home to help ensure a great camp experience for all. 

Drop Off a & Pick Up

Campers arrive and leave Terp Quest at a variety of times, so we have put parent and camper-friendly procedures in place to facilitate both. The vast majority of participant drop-offs and pick-ups occur adjacent our base camp at the Eppley Recreation Center (ERC), at the top of Valley Drive. You will see our directional signs around campus, a large sign at the drop site, and the Terp Quest staff dressed in neon yellow shirts.

Drop Off:  8:00am-8:30am

Camp hours: 8:45am - 4:30pm

Pick Up: 4:30pm - 5:00pm
