What to Bring
Make sure your camper has what they need to have a great day at camp! And kindly leave the items listed under "what not to bring" at home to help ensure a great camp experience for all.
Drop Off & Pick Up
The vast majority of participant drop-offs and pick-ups occur adjacent our base camp at the Eppley Recreation Center (ERC), at the top of Valley Drive. You will see our directional signs around campus, a large sign at the drop site, and the Terp Quest staff dressed in neon yellow shirts.

Here’s the truth—working at Terp Quest Summer Day Camp is hard. It’s not a vacation, nor is it just a job. Ask most of our former day camp counselors and they will tell you working here is one of the most challenging things they’ve ever done. They will also tell you every moment was completely worth it! Nearly all of our counselors return for a second, or third, or fourth, or fifth summer.
As day camp staff, you have the opportunity to positively impact campers' lives and to help them create lasting memories.
Meet Our Staff
Terp Quest is managed by 3 year-round, full time professional staff who are committed to meeting the needs of Terp Quest campes and their families. In addition, Terp Quest employs a minimum of 15 counselors each summer which allows us to meet or exceed supervisory ratios of 1 counselor to 10 or fewer campers. All head counselors are at least 18 years of age, in college or graduated from college, and have multiple years of experience working with children. Additional camp support staff help out with moving children to and from activities and supervision as needed.
